Resumen
Desde el inicio de la Primera Revolución Industrial en Inglaterra, también conocida como la Industria 1.0, se presentaron importantes cambios productivos debido a la mecanización de la producción, el uso de máquinas a vapor y el surgimiento de las fábricas. Desde mediados del siglo XVIII y hasta la presente década, se han presentado importantes cambios productivos y tecnológicos en las organizaciones, las cuales han transitado a la llamada Industria 5.0, modificando la dirección y gestión de sus recursos tangibles e intangibles, estos cambios han incidido en su capacidad productiva, competitividad y cuotas de mercado que, las organizaciones o empresas ocupan a nivel local, regional y global. Lo anterior es objeto de estudio de la ciencia de la administración la cual considera actualmente como medular el ámbito tecnológico en los resultados obtenidos por las organizaciones. La presente revisión de la literatura tiene como propósito describir la evolución en los rubros productivo, tecnológico y organizacional que se han presentado desde la llamada Industria 1.0 hasta la actual Industria 5.0. Este documento cuenta con una metodología de investigación documental, descriptiva y no experimental. Se concluye que han existido importantes cambios en cada una de las etapas o eras industriales, los cuales han derivado en la producción en masa, las innovaciones y automatización de procesos, lo que por momentos desplazó o relegó al humano de los procesos organizaciones. Sin embargo, recientemente ha cobrado nuevamente relevancia la figura del humano las organizaciones, lo que permite alcanzar los objetivos organizacionalmente planteados, al igual que cumplir y contribuir en materia de la sostenibilidad y competitividad necesarios.
